Cancellation & Amendment Policy
Cancellation & Amendment Policy
The following must be read in conjunction with the full Terms and Conditions of the respective RV company.
Cancellation
Britz
The cancellation must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated -
- 60 calendar days or more prior to rental dates the deposit is non refundable. In addition there is a US$200 cancellation fee
- 59 to 30 calendar days prior to rental dates - 40% of the rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 29 to 15 calendar days prior to rental dates - 70% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 14 to 05 calendar days prior to rental dates - 100% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 04 to 0 calendar days (including no-shows) - 100% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus holiday surcharge plus preparation fee plus one-way fee if applicable
In addition to the charges mentioned above any confirmed surcharges must also be paid.
Cruise America
The cancellation must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated on the greater of the following -
- 46 + days prior to departure............... 20% of total rental charges
- 45 - 16 days prior to departure..........$500 (USD) plus deposit paid
- 15 - 8 days prior to departure...........$750 (USD) plus deposit paid
- 7 - 1 days prior to departure..............$950 (USD) plus deposit paid
- Departure Day........................................Full Rental Charges
Escape
- 30+ Days from pick-up, the deposit is Non Refundable. In addition there is a $100 cancellation fee.
- 14-29 Days from pick-up, the deposit is Non Refundable. In addition 15% of the rental fee will be charged
- 8-13 Days from pick-up, the deposit is Non Refundable. In addition 25% of the rental fee will be charged
- 0-7 Days from pick-up, 100% of the rental fee will be charged a No Show is considered as a cancellation.
El Monte RV
The cancellation must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated on the greater of the following -
- 20% of the total rental cost plus $100 OR
- 59 to 30 calendar days prior to rental date - 40% of total rental cost
- 29 to 15 calendar days prior to rental dates - 70% of total rental cost
- 14 to 05 calendar days prior to rental dates - 100% of total rental cost
- 04 to 00 calendar days prior to rental dates - 100% of total rental cost plus season surcharge plus preparation fee
- All cancelled One-way rentals will also incur the applicable one way fee
* A client who declines vehicle at departure is classified as Departure Day and not eligible for any refund.
Please Note: Any refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process.
Jucy
In addition to the below fees there is a US $100 cancellation fee.
- If cancelled 91+ days prior to pick-up – No fee (booking deposit refundable)
- If cancelled 90 to 22 days prior to pick-up – 20% or deposit paid (whichever is greater)
- If cancelled 21 to 7 Days prior to pick-up – 20% or deposit paid (whichever is greater)
- If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick-up – 50% of the Rental
- If cancelled on day of pick-up or no show – 100% of the Rental
Luxe
45 calendar days or more prior to pick-up loss of deposit and in addition there is a US$100 fee.
44-30 Calendar days prior to pick-up = 40% of rental cost
29-15 Calendar days prior to pick-up = 70% of rental cost
14-0 Calendar days prior to pick-up = 100% of rental cost
At Luxe RV we understand that unexpected events can happen and your long-awaited RV vacation can be stressful.
For peace of mind, please purchase cancellation insurance.
Luxe do not partner with any travel insurance companies, and we suggest you do your due diligence and find the one that suits your needs.
In the event that you cancel your RV booking, Luxe RV have a strict non-refundable cancellation policy.
Road Bear RV Rentals
The cancellation must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated -
- 60 calendar days or more prior to rental dates the deposit is non refundable. In addition there is a US$200 cancellation fee
- 59 to 30 calendar days prior to rental dates - 40% of the rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 29 to 15 calendar days prior to rental dates - 70% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 14 to 05 calendar days prior to rental dates - 100% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus one-way fee if applicable
- 04 to 0 calendar days (including no-shows) - 100% of rental cost minus any applied discount plus holiday surcharge plus preparation fee plus one-way fee if applicable
In addition to the charges mentioned above any confirmed surcharges must also be paid.
Travellers Autobarn
The cancellation must be notified in writing and the day of receipt of the cancellation is the date the cancellation fee is calculated -
- Loss of deposit paid if cancelling 15 or more days before pick up
- Loss of deposit plus $200 fee if cancelling within 14 days of pick up
- 50% plus $200 if cancelling within 7 days of pick up
- 100% if cancelling within 24 hours of pickup
- No refunds will be given for any booking amendments to the rental dates within 14 days of collection (if the length of hire is shortened) and the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked
In addition to the charges mentioned above any confirmed surcharges must also be paid.

Amendments
Amendments are charged at a rate of US$50 per change. This applies but is not limited to changing the client name, vehicle type, reducing the number of rental days, changing the pick-up dates or locations. No refund will be given on the initial deposit paid.
If an amendment is made to the rental whereby the length of hire is shortened, no refund will be given on the initial deposit amount nor can it be transferred to the balance payable on pick-up. In addition, if an amendment is made inside 14 days of pick-up, the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked. A relocation fee may also apply if the collection or return location is amended.
If the amendment results in changing the vehicle brand your deposit is not transferable.
Where the hire is being extended, the amendment fee may not apply.
Please note that amendments may result in the daily rental rate to be recalculated at the rate applicable on the date of the amendment for the entire rental period.
Early Bird Discounts may no longer be applicable to the rental if changed.
Payments
Any payment made to Jurnii RV Rentals will be subject to a 2% credit card surcharge. This is subject to change without notice.
